About me:
Experienced Owner and Inventor with a demonstrated history of working in various service industries. I am outgoing, hardworking, dedicated and loyal. I also have enjoyed an eventful eclectic life, constantly expanding my talent base and experiences where I can. My entire life I have been working with computers from the humble 8088 to the modern machines and servers of today. I am an accomplished entrepreneur, inventor, CAD design and prototyping, farmer, and Chef.
For my education, I have obtained several degrees and am currently dual majoring in IT Network / Cloud Administration & Virtualization and IT Service & Support where I hold a strong 4.0 GPA. My other degrees include Associates in Engineering, Science, Hospitality and Restaurant Management, and Culinary Arts.
Over the years I have owned and operated several businesses spanning different industries all while working a career as a Chef for over 21 years all across the east coast. I have always had an eye for entrepreneurial business and technology as this is reflected in many of my previous businesses. These included a candy company, Personal Chef services, motorcycle repair shop & rescue/towing, handmade soaps and spa products, farming with traditional and hydroponic methods growing microgreens and other produce, consulting in prototyping/CAD/engineering/business, and now IT services.
When it comes to technology, I have always been curious and hands on experimenting with new devices and systems. I built my first computer in 1994 at the age of 10. Since then I have been working with computers, electronics, robotics, prototyping and 3d printing, CAD software, and many other electronics projects. As for my experience and skill level, I would classify myself as an intermediate to expert in some areas. I have designed and built my own home lab that I practice my lessons and new technologies on. It consists of 12 client computers, my own domain (comprised of a DC, file server, 3 switches, 2 Wireless access points, custom firewall, and battery backup UPS), 3d printer and regular printer all networked together. I have and use HyperV to a lesser extent. For my desktop and hand-held device experience with OS systems, I am experienced with Windows, Mac and Linux. For server systems, I have experience with many OS and hypervisors including Windows Server, Linux, VMWare ESXI, Hyper-V, and Nutanix. For Cloud systems I have experience with Azure, Google Drive, iCloud, Microsoft Onedrive and 365 applications.
In the summer of 2016 I founded Draxlor Industries Inc as a way to provide Consulting services in addition to Engineering, CAD, and Business services. This venture has been successful and I am happy to say is growing into a steadfast company. Today, I have evolved Draxlor Industries into an IT Consulting Services business where I provide services in many different areas. These include services in network design, configuration, virtualization, Active Directory, Azure operation, support and service.
In addition to striving to grow and develop Draxlor Industries, my current goals include furthering my education in Network and Cloud Virtualization & Administration and IT Service and Support. My end goal is becoming an Enterprise Network Architect. In conjunction with my schooling, I have obtained several IT Certifications so far. These include 2 certifications in Cybersecurity and both of the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) in Networking and Cybersecurity in May 2024. I am now working to achieve my AZ-900 and Comptia 1101/1102 A+ certifications. I feel these will provide a solid foundation for my IT career.
My next plan is to continue to gain more experience by attending local events, joining IT organizations, and working on projects, whitepapers, and obtaining a position with a company that will allow me to grow.
I am excitedly looking forward to helping many people as I move forward into this field of work.

Active Directory Final Project for fictional company: "Santa
This is the PowerPoint presentation for the class final project. The assignment was to create a Domain, Domain controller server, and a Hyper-V file server with full Active Domain build out. This domain hosts client computers and over 200 users. I created a PowerShell script for automating the addition of new users, checking if they already exist, assigning new users to security groups, assigning permissions, creating and saving home folders to the file server, and disabling the user account until needed. I also created custom logos and applied group policies to all the clients and users.
This video presentation was my final project for my CTI 140 Virtualization class at Durham Tech Community College in the fall of 2023.
Short PowerPoint Presentation for my SEC-110 Class
This project is about the April 2024 cyberattack on the Roku company. This data breach affected around 576,000 user accounts. Roku did a good job mitigating any further issues as only about 400 user accounts were compromised. To the company's credit ZERO customers had their sensitive information, such as names and credit cards, stolen from Roku. The credential stuffing attack used stolen passwords and usernames from other previously successful attacks on other platforms.
PowerPoint Presentation for Honors Project
This honors project is about the creation and implementation of a customized Data Backup and Recovery plan for a local Durham Company. The scope of this plan primarily focused on upgrading and implementation their backup systems and policies while adhering to industry standards and regulations. I designed a plan based around the 3-2-1 method while combining the grandfather-father-son method into it. I added 2 additional technologies including a custom built NAS client.
